Build an API that techs can use to connect to their calendar and other services
You could totally nerf the Google calendar integration but score a huge win by creating a Zapier / IFTTT / Integromat interface (webhooks?) which would allow the tech to connect his hellotech platform to calendar and a myriad of other useful apps/services. Spending time on this type of API access to the technicians data could be leveraged in so many different ways above and beyond just calendar integration.

David C in DC MergedLimited access to the underlying data associated with jobs (both current & completed) is frustrating. The technician has extremely limited ability to analyze their business metrics, or even the basics of what’s necessary to comply with IRS requirements for documenting even the most basic requirements for things like mileage deductions from current reports available to the tech. There will never be one size fits all solution to something like this, but providing some kind of “hook” or programmatic ways to extract data (preferably in real time) would be helpful to those so inclined. Think webhooks or maybe JSON, or trigger/action platforms such Zapier, Integromat or IFTTT…

Quemasi Hickerson MergedI don’t know if anybody else has this issue. But I have other things going on that I put into my Apple calendar. I would love to sync my Apple calendar with my HelloTech calendar. It would be great if I could just hit Sink and always go to my Apple calendar and my appointments with the address and phone number would be in the calendar. And this way I could immediately know what my availability is from my HelloTech appointments and any other appointment that I may have

Gregg A.I use Jobber to to manage my scheduling and invoicing for my business. It would be nice you could integrate hellotech into Jobber as other major companies such as Stripe and Square have done.
